X-ART.com is an porn-nude photo art website featuring the work of photographer Brigham Field, as well as other top photographers. This is purely a photography site, there are no videos to be had, but the images are of exceptional quality in terms of picture clarity and size, which go up to a very large 4000 pixels.

These images look more reminiscent of the sort you’d find in a sex manual, and not at all like a typical porn site with it’s extremes of penetration, even though this site does contain penetration. X-ART.com is more hardcore-lite than hardcore-heavy.

Each set has a title and some text, and most of the sets and in full color, but there are a few in monochrome.

The majority of the photo sets are shot in studios, with often plain backdrops, while other sets are shot on location. One criticism I have is that the location shoots make little dramatic use of the localities to create a sense of place or mystery, unlike so many other nude-art sites.

Having viewed the many sets of images on X-ART.com, I am left with a overall feeling of sameness present in the studio shoots. One can’t help but feel they could have made the backgrounds more interesting with some furniture or ‘objets d’art’, just to create variety. But no, we are presented with the same kind of repetitive style over and over in all the sets. Like I mentioned, even the location shoots do not make imaginative use of the scenery, which further adds the the overall impression of sameness, even blandness.

However, the image quality is of a high standard and there are some nice erotic sets to be had, including one of stunning Sofia dripping with oil as she poses nude in the studio. At least they made use of half-lighting in this one, which shows off her slender curves covered in baby oil to good effect.

Another thing I noted is that the images per photo set are very small in number, some as low as 16 images and some as high as 50 per set, though most sets average around 20 to 30 images.

This gives a sense of incompleteness about some of these sets of images, and you are left with a feeling that there must be more. Not least because the amount of photos per set is low, but in some cases because a series of images themselves just seems incomplete in their narrative at times.

Compared to sites like Met-Art, which has multiple updates, full-photo sets and videos, and fine art photography that manges to be mysterious as well as erotic, sadly X-ART.com falls flat when it comes to delivering the goods.

CONCLUSION

X-ART.com aims to imitate some of the leaders in the world of fine art nude photography, but offers nothing in terms of innovation and imagination.

There are over 50 stunning models in the members area who appear fully nude, and sometimes in situations that involve sexual penetration or masturbation, where the emphasis is on eroticism and not explicit pornography.

The quality and size of the images are exceptional, though the number of images per set is somewhat disappointing, leaving one with a feeling of wanting more.

Also, I feel the many studio shoots with plain backdrops, give a sense of sameness once you have viewed them all. Even the location shoots are done without imagination or visual props to stimulate the viewer. Despite the professional photographers and the quality images, this is one of the main criticisms I have about X-ART.com. These guys really need to sex things up more, create a sense of mystery and exoticism in their work.
